Question: What did you understand most about todays lesson and independant practice?
This week I learned how to use the invisable web. There are many pros and cons to this new and controversial search scource of information. One of the pinnacle differences between the world wide web and the invisable web is that it is highly un organized and as someone quoted, "The internet may be the worlds greatest library but let's face it, all the books are scattered on the floor". An advantage of using the invisable web is that it is well organized and contains credible sites. An advantage of using the world wide web is that there are many more search topics and material to view.
Great. I'm glad you understand the difference between the invisible Web and the visible Web. You are right. With databases, the information is organized and from credible sources, whereas the information on the visible Web is a crapshoot. You may get good stuff, you may not. Also, I should point out that not all information on the invisible Web is organized and credible. Its just the databases on the invisible Web which are organized and credible.
